I have used the version 1.06 on Windows XP SP 2 for some time with good results. However, recently a portion of the application stays active in Task Manager after I close it. As long as it is in this state, the processor registers a 100% utilization. I downloaded version 1.07 and installed and it will not even run. As soon as I execute the program, I get C+ runtime errors and the program closes.

It appears that the program has not been updated in almost three years. This is too bad. A very useful program that is excellent for locating and clearing out old files. But not useful if it incapacitates the machine or will not run.

It works fine on my XP-Home-SP2!
Perhaps don't try to "install" it just run the exe-file as portable.

I was able to find a copy of 1.07a and install it. That version appears to work. However, after exiting and closing ExplorerXP, a portion of the executable stays active according to Task Manager. It is interesting that version 1.07a does not appear to be the version that is currently posted for download.
